Short answer
Start where you are, in your own words. Prayer is talking with God, and you do not need special language. A simple pattern is three sentences: where you are, what you feel, and what you are asking. Even Jesus' disciples had to ask: "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples." (Luke 11:1, WEB)
Jesus kept it plain. He said "your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him." (Matthew 6:8, WEB) So you are not trying to find perfect words; you are simply turning toward God.
If it helps, write your prayer down. Light Ark has a Prayer Journal where you can record your prayers and look back on them. Prayer is also better shared: ask a friend, your pastor or your church to pray with you.
If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24 hours) in the U.S., or 911 (or your local emergency number) in an emergency. Light Ark is an AI and does not provide real-time human intervention.
