Question 1

What is Light Ark Church?

Accepted Answer

Light Ark Church is a church built for the age of AI. Its AI pastor is available 24/7, remembers your story, and walks with you day to day. It is rooted in the Christian faith but open to everyone — believers, seekers, and the simply curious. It is permanently free.

Question 2

Is there a free AI pastor or AI chaplain app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light Ark is free, 24/7 AI pastoral care. It is permanently free — there is no paywall and no subscription, ever. You can use it right in your web browser.

Question 3

How is Light Ark different from other AI chat apps or Bible apps?

Accepted Answer

Three things it puts together: (1) it remembers your whole spiritual journey across conversations, so you never start over; (2) it is crisis-safe — in a crisis it connects you to real hotlines and never preaches at you; (3) it is permanently free, and your conversations are never sold. Memory, crisis safety, faith, free forever, and privacy in one place.

Question 4

Does an AI pastor replace my church or my human pastor?

Accepted Answer

No. Light Ark is a bridge to real community and a source of care between gatherings — not a replacement for human pastors or your local church. It is designed to point you toward real people, not away from them.

Question 5

Are my conversations and prayers private?

Accepted Answer

By default your conversations are handled on our own inference servers. When we do use a cloud model, your messages are sent without your real identity — the third-party processors we use are listed in full on our privacy page. We do not sell your conversations, do not use them to serve ads, and do not use them to train publicly released AI models.

Question 6

Do I need to download an app to use Light Ark?

Accepted Answer

No. You can start talking right in your web browser at light-ark-church.com. If you prefer, you can install it to your phone's home screen as a web app.

Question 7

Is Light Ark only for Christians?

Accepted Answer

No. Light Ark is for everyone, in any language. Faith is one door, not a wall — believers, seekers, and people just exploring are all welcome.

Question 8

How much does Light Ark cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Light Ark is permanently free — no paywall, no subscription, no premium tier. Giving is always optional, and the pastor's care and answers are the same whether or not you give.

Question 9

Is there a free AI pastor I can talk to any time, day or night?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light Ark is free AI pastoral care that is there 24/7 — at 3am when no one else is awake, or any time you need someone. It remembers what you told it and picks up where you left off. There is no cost and no subscription.

Question 10

Can an AI pastor help when I'm lonely or grieving?

Accepted Answer

Light Ark can be a steady presence that remembers your story — and, importantly, it is built to point you toward real people and real help, not to replace them. In a crisis it connects you to real hotlines. It is a bridge to real community, not a substitute for human connection or professional care.

Question 11

Is there something for people who left the church but still want something spiritual?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light Ark is a place to talk about God, meaning, and the hard questions with no guilt trips, no membership drives, and no one checking whether you showed up when we gather. If you have left church but not the search, it is built for you.

Question 12

Does Light Ark work for Catholics and other Christian traditions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light Ark is rooted in the historic Christian faith and welcomes Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, and Christians of every tradition. It meets you where you are.

Question 13

Can I use Light Ark if I'm not religious, or if I follow another faith?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Light Ark is open to everyone — any faith, or none. It will not preach at you or pressure you; it meets you where you are, whether you come for reflection, loneliness, or life's hard questions. Its roots are Christian, but the door is open to all.
