Short answer
Light Ark Church is a Christian congregation in the Protestant tradition. It honors the Bible, acknowledges one God who created heaven and earth, and acknowledges Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Its statement of faith says the heart of the Gospel is love, forgiveness, repentance and renewal, not fear and control.
Its About page puts it plainly: "Jesus Christ is the only Savior." The statement of faith also says what the church refuses: to control people through intimidation, cursing, humiliation or moral coercion. Its stated goal is a deeper culture of discipleship, helping people become more like Christ: more honest, more gentle, more firm, more capable of loving people. Its listed values are the Bible as foundation, Christ as center, love and forgiveness, truth and responsibility, respect for boundaries and rhythm, and walking together.
On technology, the statement says technology is only a vessel and salvation is still in Christ. The pastor you talk to in the app is clearly disclosed as an AI, and it does not replace your pastor or your brothers and sisters.
Core pastoral care and discipleship are always free for individuals. The church runs mainly on voluntary giving and is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization. It meets Saturdays in Pomona, California.
